excavation station. we dig dirt.
although today was a tad on the nippy side, my boys spent their afternoon outside doing manly yardly things, as they usually do on nice sunny days. today, however, there was a task at hand. please notice the bush in the background of this picture that craig seems to be sizing up.
this bush has been getting on my nerves for quite some time, so i was not sad at all to hear of it's possible removal. the question was: how should we remove this bush that has been here for about 30 years with roots the size of texas? ben had the answer of course.
no, ben, sorry. as awesome as your gator is... it probably won't do the trick this time. but apparently dad thinks his toy might work.
ben thinks it's doubtful... and i think i agree.
don't worry. mommy's got the big wheels and i'm not afraid to use them. hook me up, dad.
and it was a success! mona (that's what i affectionaly call my montero) did the job. she is apparently an excavation expert and her driver is pretty cute too (she's the smokin hot one in the brown grandmotherly cloak...). here are some thumbs up on a job well done.
(many thanks to the benny-man on taking this picture...who knew he was a photographer??)
ben was so excited about his part in this removal process that he took off his hat and gave us his excited face.
congratulations on a job well done, boys. it's obvious that you both "dig dirt." hahaha...
i mean, do the sluders know how to have fun, or what? :)
