rainy sunday

yesterday, as it rained cats and dogs, the sluder fam was busy adding some flare to our extremely bland kitchen.  granted, our dining room is dangerously apple green and that flows ino the kitchen a bit... but as for the actual kitchen space, the appliances, counter tops, walls, fan, and cabinets are all almond.  very BOOOORRRRRING!  since i've taken 3 months off of work, we can't exactly afford to replace appliances, counter tops or cabinets.  so, i employed my own personal handy manny (aka craig/daddy) to add a backsplash and put up a new fan.  it turned out beautifully!  here are some pics we took.

and AFTER!  i love it!  i think it adds some sophistication to the apple greenness.  a little bit old, with a litle bit of new... which i am ALL about.

AND. here are some more pictures from our newborn session with studio d.  i just love them.  it definitely helps that i happen to live with 3 stud muffins... (again, ignore the fuzzy quality of the pictures.  they are pictures of pictures off the computer...ghetto, i know.  but you still get the idea.)
