so last night i decided to play the role of night owl. i couldn't sleep. well, to be fair, i didn't really give sleep an early chance. i put graham to bed and started to watch "dear john." as that progressed...i became so incredibly bored that i began to work on an art project for my niece, ava. when my poor dvd selection was finally over, my project for ava's new room wasn't quite done, and i was really craving a good love story to sleep on. so, i put on my favorite dvd that we own...fireproof.
yeah, i know...this movie can totally be chalked up as a corny cheeseball of a film, but i heart it. it's a very real love story and if you haven't seen it-- please rent it, ignore the cheesy acting, and let it pull at your little heartstrings. if you are married and very honest with yourself, i am certain that there is at least one aspect of it you can relate to. i could go on... but i won't. :) this movie is just extremely special to me.
anyway, it was well past midnight when i finished up my late night art and the canvas certainly has big crocodile tears splish splashed within it. it turned out great, and it was certainly made with love for my dearest ava.
saved by God's beautiful grace. wife. mommy. runner. teacher. creative. spontaneous in a routine kind of way. i love advocare on many different levels. i adore my family and i have the best friends anyone could possibly dream of.
i love that movie!!
