to God be the glory, for the things He has done...

craig and i have been praying for a change in our lives and we knew God had told us one was coming...we were just patiently waiting on him to reveal what the change was. we were thinking a move of some sort or a job change. well, God revealed his plans on thanksgiving weekend and gave us the best change we could ask for. and now, the secret is finally out! baby sluder #2 is due august 8th and is our little miracle child. not a miracle medically (although babies are DEFINITELY medical miracles!), but this baby is a miracle and a strong testament to our little family. God is so good and gave us the best possible gift, even when we were not expecting something so wonderful. this blessing will always be a reminder to me of how God works in our lives in ways we cannot see or understand.

craig and i are just so excited for this little one. ben is too! he kisses the baby before he goes to bed each night, and although i know he doesn't really understand what any of it means, he will be such a great big brother. he has always been our little cautious nurturer, and that is going to come in handy with a little one around. we go for another ultrasound december 31. so i will keep you posted on how that goes, and i will have a new picture to post of the little jelly bean!
