i went to the doctor this past monday and our little lime sized fetus is growing perfectly. the heartbeat is solid at 165 (2 weeks ago it was 176). so that is a fabulous report. i got to see his/her little alien eyes and face. it's amazing how quickly they grow. i should be receiving the baby's crib tomorrow via fedex. i am very excited about this and can't wait to see what bedding i will be able to put in there.
speaking of growing, ben is just shooting up like a weed in physical features and his personality. i am really enjoying being home with him this summer. in fact, i get real lonely when he's not around. he's my little sidekick and he is SUCH a big help. not to mention he is just hilarious. he knows exactly what to say to make me laugh. i am loving all his inquiries about "how" and "why" are things. he is excited about the baby and knows it'll be here around christmas. it changes daily whether he wants a brother or sister. however, i am absolutely convinced it's a brother! of course i do not know that for sure... but i have my suspicions...
i will leave you with my latest ultrasound picture and also a picture of my 3 month pregnant belly, which i know my mom will not approve of (approve of posting a picture of my bare belly, that is) sorry, mom. :)
i have many other things i could write, but honestly, i just need a nap...and probably a snack...hahaha. the story of my life lately. :)
