the other suprise

my last blog left you with the promise of another big surprise for our little family. while it may not seem big to some, it's huge to us and something we've been waiting for about a year. drum roll, please.....

i got a new job! i am leaving my small, quiet, very far away, elementary school and going to a middle school that is only 1.6 miles from my house! no more driving to bumble every day and no more...well, no more of things that i really shouldn't post on my blog! :) we are VERY excited about the change because it means many things for us, including me having the same schedule as ben when he gets in kindergarten (which is only 2 years away) and a much less expensive gas bill. bradley county has been good to me, but it's time to move on.it's going to be a big year! ben will be in k3 in august, i'll start my new job, and baby sluder #2 will grace us with HIS (yes, i'm convinced it's a boy- but stay tuned. we find out july 27th) presence just before christmas and finish out the year.

i am very excited about all our new changes, but i am really having fun with ben at home this summer. he is honestly the funniest person i know. he makes me laugh all day and he is just so sweet. don't get me wrong- he has his 3 year old moments, for sure. but overall, he has such a sweet spirit and he aims to please. this new baby couldn't ask for a better big brother--i'm sure of it.
