welp, today was the day! and my instincts were correct! our little miracle is a precious BOY. graham charleston sluder (hence the picture of the graham crackers above...hehehe, i love it!) will be here december 19th-ish. if he keeps up with the show he gave us today, we are going to have our hands full. the kid isn't ever still! we were lucky to get a glimpse of his little manly parts. he is currently weighing in at 11 ounces and everything else looked fabulous. his heartbeat was 158 bpm. his little face is perfect and i, of course, am already in love. i can tell he is going to be a wonderful addition to our family. i honestly never thought futuristically of myself as being a mom of two boys, but i am so excited. craig is going to be very busy coaching several things, i'm sure! hmmmmm, why do i feel like many stitches and hospital visits are in the futures of my boys....?? let's hope not....
ben is very excited to have a brother! he wanted to pretend he was more interested in his john deer truck while we were at the ultrasound (typical ben behavior)... but i'm sure he just didn't want to seem over anxious. :) when the ultrasound tech asked him what he wanted to name the baby, his answer was "little nemo sluder." she said she actually gets that response a lot from toddler siblings. hahaha. hopefully he'll get on the wagon with graham and forget about nemo.
below is the best picture we got of baby graham. i won't put up his "boy parts" picture... i'd hate to violate the young man's privacy before he even sees the light of day. i wanted to put the video of the ultrasound on here, but i don't have enough pregnant patience right now to figure it out.... maybe later. i am eager to go open all of ben's newborn clothes and get them washed and ready for his brother!
