cozy throne for B & G (new decor, part 3)

 i have to be honest.  now that the boys' bathroom is finished, i usually skip other bathrooms in our house and walk up two sets of stairs to get to this one.  it's just such a cozy little place to be!  it's boyish, but still stylin enough for this momma.

let's go back in time though....imagine where those "reindeer" tan walls are currently- a world of STARK WHITE.  that's what was there.  i have no before pic because i am just too antsy for things like "before pictures."  (don't judge me, it's in my blood.  "it" being impatience, i'm afraid.)  there was also a WHITE shower curtain, no rug in front of the tub, and white blinds.  scccaaarrryyyy white and blah.  after my first (of 4) steriod shot of the christmas 2010 season (i was sick basically all of christmas break), i went to work on this bad boy, and this was my final result.  i really love the 3 pictures on the wall of my boys.  and if you could feel the plushness of that rug in front of the tub, you would march yourself straight to bed bath and beyond and buy one for every bathroom in your house.  it's THAT awesome.

(view from the hallway.  if my calculations are correct, this is the original olive green tile that was put up when the house was built in 1969.  i LOVE LOVE it.  and i love giving something old a new twist and making it work.  things with a story are so much cooler that something "brand new.")
